Description

Sightings like this come almost once in a lifetime. Arboreal snakes such as this Boomslang are perfectly adapted to move into nests designed to keep predators out (such as this poor Village Weaver).

After hearing a loud commotion from the local weaver colony, I investigated and saw a glimpse of this snake moving between the branches of the fever tree. Fortunately I had my camera on hand and managed to capture a few shots as he went from nest to nest plucking the chicks for his lunch.
